Professor Ita Richardson’s Inaugural Lecture UL February 2023

  • 28 February 2023

Professor Ita Richardson’s Inaugural Lecture as Professor of Software Quality,

Prof Ita Richardson’s inaugural lecture was held in the University of Limerick in February. Attended by family, friends and colleagues from all faculties across UL, Ita discussed the value of being involved in interdisciplinary research. She spoke specifically about her work in Connected Health, illustrating this through 3 projects which focused on software used to improve the health of malnourished children, on developing connected health software for use by older adults and by persons with mild intellectual and developmental disability, and on developing Contract Tracing Apps for use during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Congratulations Ita on the lecture and thank you for your work for women in STEM over many years.
