Dr Una FitzGerald is a director of Galway Neuroscience Centre, NUIG, and founder of Galway Green Labs. She leads the Galway Green Labs initiative and is working to create a sustainable science lab at CÚRAM. Read more about Dr Fitzgerald’s work on sustainability in labs in The Irish Times on 23 January 2020.

Dr Fitzgerald has recently been invited to chair the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland working group that is focusing on greening public sector labs.

Thanks to Donna McCabe of SFI for alerting WITS to the work of Dr Una Fitzgerald at CÚRAM.
