WITS is firmly committed to encouraging girls from an early age to consider pursuing a career in STEM. One of the first projects undertaken by WITS was the Role Model Project to provide positive role models of women in STEM and also to give an insight into what a career in STEM might look like.

WITS provides Role Model Packs to third level institutions who wish to hold Role Model days and may be able to assist in sourcing suitable Role Models to speak on the day.

DIT have run a number of Role Model Days supported by WITS.
